My name is Mark Davison, I'm 23 years old, and currently live in Cornwall, in the United Kingdom.
I'm a Digital Media Specialist, with over 6 years of experience within the field of work that I specialise in.
I studied Level 3 Digital Creative Media at Calderdale College, and was an ambassador, as well as a proud member of the Students' Union from 2016 - 2018, taking up two terms as a Technology Officer, I was the person responsible for taking student feedback regarding the technology around the college, and pushing forward changes to the IT team, as well as liaising with the Marketing Team, as of which I did several weeks of Work Experience with them.
In 2018, I was offered an interview for an apprenticeship, working as a member of the Marketing Team for Calderdale College, but was sadly out beaten by someone who had more skills than I did at the time.
I have personally worked with several charity organisations over the years, and have done a lot of free work for them, one charity which I have worked with, is Parkinsons UK, they assist people suffering with Parkinsons Disease.
My work experience with several companies ranges from Photography, all the way to Development Work, I've done film reels for a company called VAMA Kitchens as part of my college course, my film reel was chosen along with two others for their official advertising campaign.
My most recent work, includes Development Work for an online community called SimulatorHits, I was tasked with re-designing their entire front-end of their website, and it turned out really nice!
As previously stated, I'm looking forward to starting my new career within the Police, which is due to start in March 2021, all the way through to December 2021, it's going to be a long process, but the final outcome will be extremely
rewarding, not just for me, but for my family.
I'm eventually looking to get back into FM Radio Presenting, I have my eyes on SourceFM or Pirate FM, which are both radio stations within Cornwall.
I've been a Radio Presenter since 2014, both on FM, and Online for several different communities, I started my career within radio at Phoenix FM, which is a community run radio station
for Calderdale, in West Yorkshire.
Since 2014, I have also been a presenter for 4 online communities, originally starting out at TruckersFM, then working my way to a station called SM-Radio, TruckSimFM (formally Euro Truck Radio), and SimulatorHits.
I am now back at TruckersFM as a Radio Presenter, and love every interaction with the community, as they've all been extremely welcoming to me.
